Retail design and build is the process of designing and constructing a retail space. This includes everything from concept development, space planning, budgeting, material selection, construction and installation, to post–installation services such as maintenance, repair and remodeling. It also includes creating a retail environment that will attract customers, while also providing a functional and efficient space for staff to work in. A successful retail design and build project will include detailed planning and research, as well as an understanding of construction standards and regulations.
